I woke up complaining to God about this shitty life. And then I met this man on the road in his wheel chair. He couldnt speak properly either. But he was smiling and waving at everyone passing by. He taught me to find happiness in what you already have rather than wishing for what you dont have.
It's scary how years roll by... been two years since mum left us..but it feels like she is still here though.. Life has changed so much for me! I was once an avid blogger, but now even that has stopped. I cant remember when was the last time I wrote something from my heart.
I think I have never planned too far ahead all my life. I live day by day, and I hate the routine life.I don't take decisions easily and I don't know what I want. But one day all of these has to change and it did. When someone who needs you in their life walks into your life filled with tornadoes, you cant let go of him..and so I didn't, which brings us here. Finally I have decided its time, not to change myself or for him, but to make him a part of who I am and dream with him. The Mind is indeed powerful. I am thinking too much and am struggling to maintain a sense of balance. Too much of adrenaline indeed!!! And yes I am in LOVE !!
Travelling has always been fascinating to me. No matter where the destination is, it gives me wings. New place, new people it feels so lively. I guess i am a born wanderer. Just wild n free. Well you cant be that all time yet when you can you do so.
And here's another journey to remember!
I saw the banned documentary on Nirbhaya case yesterday. BBC had the guts to release it after posing a ban from Delhi High Court. Her name was Jyoti Singh and was from a poor family. I could see the pain in her parents eyes when they spoke about their only daughter who had lots of dreams to fulfil.
But what hurt me deep was the opinions of the defence lawyers for rapists. They repeatedly accused the girl for going out alone in night with a boy. Bharat ke sanskar ke virudh hai! Bull shit. So rape can occur in bharat sanskar but a girl and boy cant be friends! We all tend to say if people are educated such incidents wont happen. But its not education, its the mentality of Indians that has to change. Such hideous words coming out of highly educated lawyers put whole country to shame.
Also there was an interview with one of the accused who again blamed her for roaming out in city at night. There was no remorse in his eyes for what they had done! The Juvenile would be released from custody in December 2015. He is free to roam the streets and rape as many women he wants. But we will keep quiet. Let them do it. The victims are not from our family or friends, so its not our business.
We live in a country where rapists roam free and people get sentenced for eating beef!
Jaago India Jaago!
No idea where India is rising!
Somehow now I feel happy that I am not in India anymore!!!
May Jyoti's soul rest in peace. She would be in heaven with all the angels, no more pain and no more sadness!
